quiet rooms.
careful food.

a small restaurant built around a short menu, honest sourcing, and unhurried meals. open tuesday through saturday for dinner.

i.
on the menu

six courses. one price. what’s around.

the menu here changes every week. sometimes twice. whatever a farmer walks in with, whatever looks right at the market, whatever came out of the garden behind the restaurant — that’s what’s for dinner.

we set the price at $85 per guest. wine pairings are $50 if you’d like them. there are no substitutions. if something doesn’t agree with you, tell us when you book — we’ll figure something out.

iii.
chef

amelia harrington.

trained at the french laundry. cooked at blue hill. opened slate & spoon in 2021 to do what she loves most — feed people well, quietly.

the menu here is smaller than most, but it’s exactly the food she wants to cook.
