We opened Fern & Page during the recession because the world needed more good bookshops, not fewer. Eighteen years later, a hundred fifty thousand visitors, and a few cats in residence, we’re still here.
Every book on the shelves was chosen by one of us. We work with local distributors, host writers we admire, and keep our prices honest. If we don’t have what you’re looking for, we’ll order it — usually faster than the big sites, never with extra fees.
All events are free unless noted. RSVPs appreciated but never required.
Elena reads from her new novel, then answers questions and signs books.
Bring a poem, bring a friend, bring a favorite to share. Hosted by Mira Patel.
Every Saturday morning for ages 3–8. Cookies, questions, good books.
This month we’re reading “Still Waters Wait.” Pick up your copy at the register.
“The staff knows the inventory better than I know my own shelves. I came in for one book and left with four. Worth every dollar.”
“Fern & Page is the heart of our neighborhood. The reading nook, the cats, the hand-written staff picks — it’s a place you linger.”
“My kids beg to come to story time on Saturdays. They leave with a new book, every time. Beats every other Saturday plan.”
Once a month: new arrivals, upcoming events, the books we couldn’t put down. No filler, no spam — just our actual recommendations.
